Gallery Cornettino

The Cornettino draws inspiration from the classic ice cream cone and features a highly versatile, easy to fill shape. The ice cream cone was invented back in 1903 by Italo Marchioni who patented this receptacle, blessed with an unprecedented success: today it is used and renowned all over the world. Giacomo was looking to introduce a simple conical shaped product to his range, with the addition of a base which enables the Cornettino to be also served in patisseries or by catering agencies. The uniqueness and strong point of this product stems from its dual use: as you have just seen, it can be served in patisseries, but its shape is also reminiscent of a typical Japanese dish, "Temaki", do taste it if you have never had a chance to do so. The Tropical Cornettino is most frequently requested by restaurants which have brought oriental cuisine to Italy, in virtue of its similarity to this typical Japanese dish. The Love and Tropical versions are most frequently requested at seaside, for those in search of a touch of colour, as well as for the ice cream decoration and cake design sectors.
