Gallery Bugia

The Bugia range features perhaps some of our most beautiful products, both in terms of aesthetics and flavour: its sinuous form exudes femininity and inimitable elegance. Each product has been blessed with its own design, each Bugia is different from all others and exudes this company's genuine artisan ethos, where every single product is hand made. The name was jokingly derived from a debate over which geometric shape the Bugia was most similar to: some thought it was triangular, some flower-shaped, and so on, although not a single suggestion seemed to fit right in describing this product, so Giacomo decided to call it "Bugia", Italian for lie or fib. The decoration is simple so as not to overweight a dessert which is already complete in itself. A few scoops of ice cream and some fruit for a spectacular dessert, where the shape itself enhances the brittle. If you wish to create a more enhanced play on its irregular shape, why not try more daring and elaborate decorations, for a truly heavenly dessert masterpiece. There is also considerable demand for the almond Bugia which is sweeter in taste compared to peanut brittle; sesame seeds confer a slightly bitter but more delicate flavour upon your dessert. Bugia is part of the Monoporzioni range, therefore it is the perfect conclusion to a dinner, at home in the company of friends or at your favourite restaurant, a unique dessert and without a doubt you shall stop to admire its beauty before savouring it right until the last crunchy morsel
